August 25, 201312 yr I own practically all Captain Sim products. In the past, I have been guilty, by association, of jumping onto the bash-CaptainSim bandwagon. I'm sorry CaptainSim! Ever since I had to do a complete reinstall of FSX and all its addons (took 2 full days, and a couple weeks of "mopping-up" to complete), MY CAPTAINSIM ADDONS ARE WORKING FLAWLESSLY leading me to believe that most of the previous problems I had with CS were due to my own systems faulty setup. The glaring exception to the previous statement is the 777 which still needs updates. The 707,727,737, and 757 have PMDG-like VCs and the most amazing and realistic textures inside and out. There is no one who does a more realistic VC than CS IMO. The 767 was not executed as nicely as the others and has some visual/color schemes that are not the most realistic. Captain Sim products have a certain intangible, synergistic element that excites me when i think of flying them. AND I picked up many of them for about 10 euros. From this day forward I will no longer bash CS. Think about it. Without Captain Sim we would not have a 707, 727, 777 (as of today), and C130 these would be huge omissions in FSX addons. From now on I will no longer bash CaptainSim since I have a new found appreciation of its products. Often, the when I think of FSX I think of Captain Sim!
August 25, 201312 yr Are you joking? I agree they have a good 757... But the rest is just broken/glitchy/not worth it! - - Tommy - -
August 25, 201312 yr I agree as far as the mid-level/close-to-SDK B707 and C130 are concerned. But what is your (opening) post about? And I'm still going to call a spade a spade ... What happened to AVSIM
August 25, 201312 yr I stopped reading when you said "There is no one who does a more realistic VC than CS".
August 25, 201312 yr I'm glad the OP is happy but the fact still remains that many CS products are glitchy and incomplete.

I wish that Captain Sim hadn't done any of the plane's you've mentioned because it probably discouraged more commited developers from making them instead. From my point of view, I'm still waiting for a developer to do a 727 and a 707.
