August 28, 201312 yr http://airfactsjournal.com/2013/08/drones-the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly/?utm_source=airfacts&utm_medium=email There’s a lot of talk about drones recently, some of it reasoned but most of it not. In the former category would be a report by the AUVSI (the trade group representing the unmanned systems industry) detailing the major impact drones could have on farming. In the latter category would be the town of Deer Trail, Colorado, which announced plans to legalize the hunting of drones by its citizens. Pilots aren’t much better than the general public, with some declaring drones the saviors of personal air transportation and others declaring them the biggest threat to general aviation in decades. _________________________________________________________________________ Bob "roadwarrior" Werab Config: ASUS Prime Motherboard, RYZEN 5, 32 GB Ram, Radeon RX5700 XT, 2 TB SSD

I don't think I would like to be the first guy to try this. You would be caught up between federal laws, a local ordinance and the constitution. I am sure someone is more then willing to test these waters though. I am still waiting for the day when a drone will deliver my pizza to my door in 30 minutes or it is free  I can see how drones will transform agriculture if they are cheaper to operate. They could stay up longer and cover more area then a human operation can. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
August 28, 201312 yr There are more than a few people worried about the privacy issues involved with drones. After the issues with Verizon and the NSA, trust in government is not at an all time high.

Meh, you can take pictures from a C172 just fine as well. The problem is people taking pictures of things they shouldn't be taking pictures of, not the use of an unmanned aircraft. John-Alan Pascoe

The problem is people taking pictures of things they shouldn't be taking pictures of, not the use of an unmanned aircraft. The people's fear is just that. Who knows what and why they send them out. Better yet,WHO is sending them out.
