September 2, 201312 yr Moderator Here's a free simple calibration guide to help get it set up -> http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/ It's got about 14 steps to go through to help tune it properly. Granted its not as good as one of those high dollar calibration programs, but it will most likely get you set in the right direction. Depending on some of the adjustments needed, if your monitor doesn't have the options available to for some of them, then you can adjust them at the driver level by using the Nvidia control panel just for stuff like gamma, contrast, etc. Most screens have these adjustments built in but some dont. I prefer to adjust my screen using the Nvidia control panel for color adjustment because I can fine tune it a little better than using the monitor buttons. November 21, 201411 yr I noticed this also when using SHADE for fsx. It would make my clouds light up at night when I flew through them. I don't know if there is a fix for this but I haven't found it. I stopped using SHADE because of this issue. I think Sweetfx is basically the same thing because it changes the shaders in fsx. Looking forward to some insight on this issue. Thank You Anthony Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I found this while searching google. I am too having this problem! I uninstalled Shade but the problems still persists. The whole screen light up white when I fly through clouds at night. Any suggestions? Brynjar Mauseth
