Navigraph Charts on the iPad etc.

Featured Replies

The good news - Navigraph are close to releasing their web-app version of their chart software which will work on tablets and mobile devices, which is excellent for those of us with only one PC who don't want to leave the sim for charts.

The bad news - those of us who have paid to accumulate vast chart collections on their desktop version will not be able to access the charts we've paid for via the web-app, as the web-app will be for annual subscribers only.

At €60 for an annual subscription, this is disappointing. I knew they were working on an iPad app but presumed anything I'd already paid for, I would be able to access.

how about the current annual subscribers , can they use the charts they have already downloaded to use on the upcoming web app

Subscribers can access all charts and videos independently of what they are using on their main PC install.  It's a web-based system, nothing like the PC program.

I find most charts can be obtained or imported with fskneeboard2

it's a great app but not sure if it works with the navigraph charts

Wow, that's really unfortunate. If it's technically feasible to have the charts accessible on mobile devices why not allow non-subscribers to access them that way as well, perhaps by charging more per chart that is mobile-accessible if that's what it takes to make it cost effective?

Really scratching my head on this one.

I will NEVER pay for navigraph charts, half of major US airports are out of date!

It just irks me a bit that I've accumulated charts for 80+ airports and if I want to use them on the iPad I have to pay €60 for a subscription. No thanks.

Will print to PDF from the desktop version instead!

Does anyone know if EFB works well via AirDisplay? That's another possibility...

Didn't know that. I don't fly in the US however.
