OH MY GOSH!

I love this airplane. I love this airport. I love the scenery. It's my home airport after all!

It's beautiful and makes me ashamed I don't own that scenery.

Regards, Jeremy Chesney

Very cool, I wish I had this scenery, I blew my monthly "FSX" money on FTX...

Really STUNNING!

Can you please share your PP techniques for the effects in shot #7 ?

I consider myself reasonably proficient in Photoshop but that is probably one of the smoothest looking shots I've ever seen

Thank you for your comment. To be honest there isnt much if any editing in any of these shots. I only sharpened the photo and used a haze effect of only 15% which is nothing. I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the raw image and these.  What gives my screenshots the look they do is SweetFX, i was blown away when I started using the effects. It required me to do nothing in PP at all. Some of my screenshots I have PP but thats all just playing around, I realized LESS is MORE quickly with PP.  If i had a secret i would not hold back but thats all it is.  I honestly dont even know how to use Photoshop other then screw up a photo lol.

Aha! In that case could you kindly share your SweetFX settings? I've been tweaking mine for ages and still can't settle on a configuration I'm happy with!

Either way you have a great eye for the composition of your shots, 7, 8, 9 and 10 are really superbly done! They look like promotional shots for advertisments!

I will IM you with a link where you can download my settings from.  Thank you for your appreciation, I usally take over 20 screenshots in the first 10 minutes of flight and then its down to choosing the ones i feel flow the best.  But honestly these screenshots are how my FSX looks when flying, sometimes Ill switch to no SweetFX mode and at that point I want to cry how crappy it is.  The SL button on my keyboard is like a HAPPY/SAD button lol.

Great, thanks very much man!

I struggled with CTDs with SweetFX for months and it made me very sad that I had to stop using it, then all of a sudden, miraculously, the problem has gone away *fingers crossed*

I've been able to use it again for the last few weeks without a single problem!

Here is the link: http://www.mediafire.com/folder/xe3vdh78nivov/SweetFX just follow the readme.txt and it will inject settings for you without doing anything.

Great, thanks! :)

@ topic starter ,

You should really replace your wing textures as they show the registration for the Iberia livery ( as shown in 2nd picture ) . This has been so since the release of the AirbusX back in 2010 and has never been corrected as it is still so in the Extended version released in December 2012 .

If you don´t know how to change the textures , send me a PM with a working email address and I can send you replacement textures .

I checked on Airliners.net for this aircraft and came across other " mistakes " such as the inner pylon tips ( painted red ) and the wingtip fences are not painted and no flag .

I worked on the original AirbusX as one of the Beta painters but US Airways ws made by Aerosoft themselves . Must have slipped through the Quality Control . Will take a bit longer but you will get the new textures . All you will have to do is place them in the US Airways folder and when asked to overwrite click YES . The textures are EXACTLY the same for the AirbusX and the Extended , so that will not be a problem whichever version you have .
