Registry Item Help Please

Featured Replies

Hello,

I plan to use my RC4 with the new version of Multi Crew Exp. The MCE looks for a registry entry for RC4.

What would that registry entry look like?

Thank you,

To the best of my knowledge RC doesn't write to the Registry. You might be better asking on a MSE forum how the connection is made.

I think there is a special configuration option to enter in one of the MCE .ini or.cfg options. This has come up before.

As Ray stated try the MCE support forum.

If MCE fails to find Rc4, there's a simple procedure within MCE to let you identify the rc4 install folder.

All very well documented in the MCE installation guide.

Ron,

go to c:\users\username\roaming\multicrew experience. (you must set this to show all folders!!!)

here open the mce.ini file and change ignoreRC4registry=0 to ignoreRC4registry=1

save it and restart mce and point to your rc4(x).exe folder
