September 14, 201312 yr I'm curious if anyone can advise me on the better of two choices .. The Carenado B200 KingAir or the Flight1 version. Which one is the higher fidelity simulation? Cheers, Kris P.
September 14, 201312 yr I don't have either, but there's been so many of this exact question posted in the last few weeks that I can tell you the consensus is that the Flight 1 King Air is the best around, very in depth system wise and a very decent simulation of the G1000 Flight Deck, more so than the Mustang from what I've read (I own the Mustang and it's awesome). September 14, 201312 yr Author Hmmm ... well, just got the F1 B200 and FSX has frozen on me (first time that it's done this) when I tried to change the Time to daylight ... Now everytime I choose the aircraft and when I try to fly FSX loads the scenery, weather etc . bang .. Fatal Error .. lol.
September 14, 201312 yr Moderator Hi Kris, the F1 B200 is a superb simulation IMHO, head over to their official support site http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_topics.asp?FID=50&title=beechcraft-king-air-b200 You'll have to register for the support forum, but once you are I'm sure the guys over there can help you. Don't give up, this B200 is a fantastic airplane, and I'm not even into glass GA aircraft, yet loved it from day one! September 14, 201312 yr Author Indeed Peter it is! I've followed Flight1's instructions for install of complex aircraft TO THE LETTER! ^_^ Happy to report I'm now enjoying my first foray with this magnificent KingAir! Cheers, Kris P.
September 14, 201312 yr Just to let you know: The Milviz King Air 350 is in Alpha! It comes with both glass and analogue cockpits! Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!
September 14, 201312 yr *Removed comment myself. I apologize and want you to know that I had never heard this phrase (tossing up) used like that and just thought I would try to be funny. I will be more careful in the future.
September 15, 201312 yr Author Ah .. I can see where one could misinterpret ... Over here we often "toss around a few ideas .. " as in "to throw around a few ideas". Another phrase is ... "just mulling on which KingAir to get ...".
