September 14, 201312 yr I tried the Ground Operations option today for the first time and I think I did something wrong. I loaded the 777 with Long Turnaround panel state. Then started Ground Operations at 55 minutes. I did not enter any fuel initially while I worked on my flight plan and fuel plan with PFPX. After getting the fuel number and entering it in Plan Fuel line, I realized that my planned fuel was much lower than the full load that the panel state had initially loaded. When I tried to zero out the fuel, the FMC gave me a Ground Operations message and would not allow any change but this left the fuel at the wrong value. Just wondering what the correct process is here when using this option. Mark CYYZ
September 14, 201312 yr Yea came across this problem myself, I had to restart and load some fuel that was below what I was to add. Be good to know the correct way. Like if you can remove fuel as the same way as you add it would be a way to go. One thing I hate is when you start its always loaded with fuel to the max is there a way to load the t7 with the min amount of fuel? September 14, 201312 yr Author Well one option would be to load your favourite starting panel state, in my case its Long Turn and then reduce the fuel to something like 6000 Kgs / 12,000 lbs which would by somewhat typical of the landing fuel and then save the panel state. Mark CYYZ
September 14, 201312 yr If you set it manual in the ground operations page you can over ride it without re starting or thats what I did anyway ZORAN

September 14, 201312 yr I just made my own panel state and put the fuel to around 11 tonnes. I have absolutely no idea why the default panel states were made with fully loaded fuel... Yea I tried that way but I than get the caution light appears as per the t7 bug issue with the cold/dark panel state Load up the long-state, turn things off and save as your own custom panel state. That way you'll have cold and dark without the caution light issue. Luke Harvest
September 14, 201312 yr I've yet to try this feature - does the pushback just start at the designated time? With no reference to/ground call to the pilot? That's how I read the manual, but it seems odd. Paul Skol

Yea looks like this way has solved the issue, think I know what I was doing wrong before is that I loaded up the cold/dark state put the fuel in that I wanted and saved that panel state.
