Just wanted too know if its possible to View the Raked Wing Tips from the VC similar to the NGX Feature. I can clearly see the Shadow on the Tarmac but it doesnt seem to be modelled.

As I understand it from previous threads on this. You can't see them from the cockpit.

Thanks James, after checking again in the VC using my TrackIR i realised the angle and shape of the Cockpit would indeed make it impossible to see them.

To be entirely correct, in fact you can (kind of). You need to put your face on the window No.3 for this, but what you will see is just the very tip of the wing, distorted by the glass diffraction. I don't think that's applicable for a sim ;)

Open the window and stick half your torso outside. When your waistline is resting on the window frame and the rest of you is outside the aircraft you should be able to see the wings :P

 

 

... don't fall out, its a long way down.
