Think we need to know what NI settings you are using.  The AVSIM Software and Hardware guide has settings and I like the settings at the following link - http://www.simforums.com/forums/drivers-nv-inspector-fsxcfg-complete-guide_topic36586.html.  I use DX10 Preview but use the guide at the link I provided to set up my NI settings. In the fsx settings I turned off AA and set filtering to Bilinear as recommend at the link.  I have no tweaks installed but I do have my LOD_Radius set to 6.5 and Texture_Max_Load set to 2048.  Those NI settings should eliminate all traces of shimmering as I don't see them.  Be careful with tweaks as they could create or enhance a problem, such as shimmering or the blurries.

Best regards,

Jim

You need to apply the "over ride application" in the IN proffile for one.

Jim, hey..politely...

Why recommending Biliniar? Eek! blurry blurry

------------- Biliniar ---- Triliniar ----- 4x Anisotropic ------ 16x Anisotropic

Shimmering? Use Alpha or Transparency AA with SS or SGSS
