Is there a real world picture to confirm this?

Thanks, and it's backwards. I can't do anything about it, my livery skills lack, and this I assume is from PMDG? Good catch, hopefully either they will fix it, or someone else will!

It'll probably come as a simple livery update through OPS Center.

What does that writing say?

Qatar Airways customarily names each of its aircraft after place names within the State of Qatar.

It's read in Arabic Al Qalail  it's an area in Qatar known with it's rough rocks and terrain ......which is the meaning in Arabic.......you have to research the word in Arabic to get to the name since it's not used in the vocabulary anymore.....the original picture showing the same word but in a mirror image :)

There is no need for proof, that's letters, not a logo and it's written in wrong way obviously.

Good, it's corrected.
