October 3, 201312 yr It's interesting how flightsimming can accommodate so many different takes on the same thing... I'm at the other end of the spectrum, where the plane is important, the airport scenery and surrounds equally so, and AI ground and air traffic a necessity to make it all work. The bits between airports are there only to, umm, separate the airports! Here's a long-standing series that drifts along at 5,000 ft or so, with no airports or other signs of life - amazing! I am prompted with an irreverent thought: "Why not save a bundle, and fly the Google Earth simulator??
