October 7, 201312 yr I PM'd Steve on this but it's late in the UK, so maybe someone else knows how to do this.: Steve said it was simple to add effects to an [ExcludeEffects] list so they will not be included for conversion. Apparently it's in the C:\Programs(x86)\DX10SceneryFixer directory somewhere but for the life of me, I can't figure out where this is or find any documentation on how to do it. Anyone? Cheers! October 8, 201312 yr Just to add a little flesh to the bones of Paul's answer.... C:\ProgramData|Dx10SceneryFixer\Dx10.ini Open the .ini file with Notepad and you, (or at least I do) will see [ExcludeEffects]ballast.fx=1 you can add to this list. If it's not there, create it under the last existing line. Regards, Nick
October 8, 201312 yr I have to pick this one up: I was wondering about the setting in the menu bar called "exclude OrbX lights" or something like that. As long as the DX10 fixer is running, clicking on this option results in a tick next to it. However, if I close the fixer and open it again, the tick is gone. What is the meaning of this? What is this option all about? regards Chris Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

If you disable effects, tick it and enable effects then it wont convert old style (not FTX) OrbX street lights. That may give a performance gain in urban areas. My FSX Analysis Blog
