Steve, i dont even have Lights on Mytraffic Planes. They are there, but are avery dark, cant see them if ive been 100 Metres away.  How can i fix that?

Hi Daniel. Steve is working on a fix for the dim MyTraffic AI lights.

i guess certain aiports do have lighting problem, for eg imagine sim vidp i do not have papi lights or runway lights as i am closing in the runway! but from a distance all is fine.. is this meant to be funny?

The lights and ai traffic work exactly the same when effects are disabled as before you installed the program. - I.e it has not broken anything that was previously working.

 

As I explained above there is a fundamental flaw in dx10 which effects lighting at legacy airports in terms of cutoff angles. The extent of this depends on the first texture in the first embedded light in the aircraft model you are flying. People have not noticed this in the past because there airports it affects are the very airports that were grey and unusable ( but not all of them as there are various ways lighting can be done),and the extent of the problem depends on the plane being flown.

 

The ai visibility may be addressable, I am testing a workaround.

 

I am also looking to see if thee is any workaround to improve the visibility of legacy point lights at airports but I cannot promise anything as the problem is deep inside fsx.

That's what I was replying to. The question then arises from your statement is therefore:

"When you say that - are you talking about DX9, DX10, DX10 as default or DX10 with the patch?"

Ok, i flyed before with the Fixes from Avsim. In DX10. AFAIK all works fine. Then ive  Installed FTX Global. Had the Nightlightning Problem. Heard that DX10 Fixer fixes that. Buyed. it. Night fine now. But not the Airports and Traffic lights.

i have installed the new DX10 Fixer 2.2 and it works great, but i have no Papilights on German Airports 3 Tegel at Day, in Düsseldorf the same?

 

It works under Aircraft Shadow on Ground set and the Papis works:-) the Problem is now many IVAO MTL Jets only see when this option deaktivated!!

What are your legacy settings?
