October 17, 201312 yr Author This is strange. I scanned my scenery.cfg with "airport scanner" that shows every BGL however on the list there is no entry for LSZH default or FSDT bgl. Thats impossible yet both locations that have scenery.cfg files were scanned C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX C:\Users\bb\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX anyone have on thoughts on this? ZORAN
October 18, 201312 yr Hi Zoran I just tested my Zurich default and find that its fine. Nothing wrong with it, no aircraft out of place, even with AI aircraft set to 100%, stationary on the ground, no aircraft inside buildings. Aologies though, I thought it was Zurich I bought but it wasnt, its Geneva. Anyway, I hope my test helps a little? All my FSX software and specs are i my profile... Richard... October 18, 201312 yr Author Success!just wanted to report problem solved by use ADE. The bgl AFCAD was hiding in E:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\0601\sceneryit only had a number so was impossible to find, only took 8 hrs lolThanks every for your suggestions ZORAN
October 18, 201312 yr Success! it only had a number so was impossible to find, only took 8 hrs lol That file wasn't APX50150.bgl was it? If it was, what did you do with the file, though I'm afraid to really find out? Delete the file? Rename it? See, if you did change something with that file you will have lost 50 airports in the area; 52 scenery objects, 15 markers. I *think* I recall Umberto at FSDT saying that his "afcad" file does not carryover any of the approach data, but relies upon the default. The default that's sitting inside APX50150.bgl. So if you did something to that file you have now lost six approaches for the airport and 75 different waypoints for those approaches.
October 18, 201312 yr Author still go it :-) yeah, Umberto did tell me about it after I removed it, Im only using lszh as the European base for the T777 so for now I don't need the default. The thing is FSDT is useless with it in place. What Im going to do is grab the original from the FSX disc and see if helps in case I renamed or did something to the old FSX default file to cause the probs Im having cant think of anything else I can do ZORAN
October 19, 201312 yr Don't know about that airport, but from what I've seen in FSDT airports is that the only bgl files in the scenery.cfg scenery areas are 1 an AFCAD which was built with AFX and 2 a collection of terrain vectors and ground textured polys. The actual scenery objects are in the misc simobjects as mdls and injected by couatl via simconnect. So I don't think unchecking scenery areas will stop those objects from appearing. But it should restore the default AFCAD from the APX50150 file. I still think you are missing the FSDT AFCAD file. scott s. .

I was able to extract the APX50150 file from my fsx DVD after Umbertos suggestion below "The only possible explanation is that, even if that file is named and located as the default one, you modified with an editor and, for some reason (depending your changes and the program used to edit it) it NOW creates a conflict, perhaps because exclusion areas were changed or lost or something similar. In that case, the best solution would be looking for the original file on the FSX DVD and restore it from there." That repaired everything and gave me back all the airports and vectors I had lost . FSDT LSZH has all the correct parking and AI now. ZORAN
