I just bought FSDT zurich (LSZH) for FSX

 

AI traffic is totally wrong , inside terminals etc. I followed a thread at FSDT forums but I couldnt resolve my issue and its not a FSdream team problem, I think..

 

When I untick LSZH (FSDT) in the library then all the AI are in the correct positions.

 

There is obviously another AFCAD but I simply cant find the bugger :-(

There is some sort of freeware there cause I can see it but its not showing up as LSZH in any of the 100 searches I have done.

 

I have also downloaded and searched "airport scanner" for double AFCADS but nothing for LSZH.

 

Im at a loss and looking for a new angle to approach this. Somebody mentioned it could even be a FS9 file thats not showing up but I wouldn't know where to look

 

Any help out there?

Do you run an AI traffic program? I know that MyTraffic and Traffic 360 add their own AFCADs, but they don't interfere with airport addons, as long as those have higher priority in the scenery library.

So as a general solution (unless you've done that already), put the airport on top of the scenery library. This should eliminate all interferences.

I use WOAI traffic in conjunction with VOX atc that works like a charm, never any problems.

okay, My aircraft loads perfect every time. Its the Ai aircraft that are way out so sounds like AI problem and not afcad??

taxi gps is showing correct path so it must be AI related

Śounds like the afcad for the fsdt addon didn't get installed properly.

I have that Airport Too...

Could you maybe show me a screenshot of whats wrong and I'll see if I can re-create it, then we can both know if its the airport or something else causing it?

This is the default shot of LSZH and AI traffic is in the correct position except for the middle terminal where they are inside it. This however is NOT the correct default as you can see by the green and blue shading, Its some sort of freeware that is not appearing anywhere under "LSZH"

 

 

This shot is with FSDT payware box ticked in the library. AI is way out

Julian, yes I tried this one already and nothing coming up at all . 

 

Ive taken it one step further and deleted FSDT and searched again so I dont get confused but there is not one BGL for LSZH showing anywhere.

If you installed it, then changed the AFCAD

From your pictures, the aircraft are in the exact same spot in each picture. It's the scenery thats changed. You defiantly have another afcad lurking around somewhere. Be advised that when changing any afcad from FSDT and Flightbeam, that whenever you let couatl update, it will re-install their afcads if you have changed the name of the original version.   

If you installed it, then changed the AFCAD

I then load the AI traffic (via voxatc that controls it) and they are out of position and the planes on the left are inside the terminal.

 

So how come FSDT can position me correctly via their parking menus? lol all a bit confusing

Yes, renaming them. If you change parking it's always a good idea to change the bgl extension to either .off or .xxx on the original afcad, then name your new afcad something unique. That way if you look in a scenery folder you'll know right away if you've changed the original afcad.

getting closer to a fix . Have isolated the default airport by trial and error so I should be able to isolate the free ware Afcad pretty soon.

the two pics in post #7 are FSDT LSZH and Default LSZH

 

However the Default pic is in fact being overlayed by FSDT LSZH which does not go away when unticked in the library despite several re installs

Have you tried this one: AFX_LSZH_V1.ZIP. It is a file from Roland Haeusermann that you can find in the library of AVSIM.

With this file you have 3 possibilities: TO 16-28 L 14, TO 32-34 L28 or TO 32-34 L34 (3 .bgl files)

It works fine for me, I also have FSDT Zürich...
