He said cpu and not gpu. You will need to research your motherboard and processor sites to find out how to overclock your system. You may also go to a site like http://www.overclock.net/ and find specific instructions for your setup. Good luck.

That was me lol. I just couldn't get them to see my point. Maybe they chose to ignore it. I haven't bought anything from them since. Which was averaging over $500 per year. Maybe more if I really added it up, but I don't really want to know lol.

Not true. Only on the boxed version. for the US anyway which is even more irritating. http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?show270 main banner only refers to BOXED.

The bottom part of your example is incorrect as there is no sale on downloaded versions, only boxed. Download version stays at 18.95. To be able to take advantage of the sale I'd have I'd have to buy the boxed version which even on sale + shipping is higher than the download versions regular price. My beef is that 90%+ (as per the demographic survey on purchases) never get to take advantage of these type of Holiday sales with Aerosoft.

Their sales are an insult to people who buy the download version. A majority (shown by the demographic survey last year) are purchased through download. Boxed price + shipping is higher than normal download price. Not sure how they think that's a sale for the loyal people who purchase through download. Very irritating and insulting.

Thats not what ForcefullScreenVSync does. It does help with tearing, but has nothing to do with locking fps. That line really has only helped people with ATI GPU's. See this thread. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/283143-fsx-vsync-fix/

Wait a minute, there is nothing in those settings listed that have anything to do with locking frames. To be locked at 60 as you say, something has to be locking FPS. If not internally, then it has to be external.

Does not work with ATI crossfire. Tried it a couple of years ago when it was a hot topic then. Actually makes things worse. As a matter of fact its been mentioned numerous times to not even run your cards crossfired, period, when running fsx.
