This Is The Most Amazing Scenery I've Seen..

Featured Replies

Have you guys seen this scenery??? I hope this topic hasn't already been posted..

It's by "WDS Simulations"

It's KMBS and they've modeled the INTERIOR of the terminal.. it looks absolutely amazing.

Here are some pics..

Wow, highly realistic. Unfortunate that they chose a very small airport with regional ops, nobody can fly anything real big into there.

Well there goes my framerate...

Yeah, pretty amazing job. But from my point of view, it's pointless. Who needs detailed airport interior (instead movie makers)? Don't add another 150 pounds on already stressed camel (FSX)!

Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.

Any shots of the outside, the part we actually see when we fly there? Otherwise it's like having a highly detailed bathroom on a addon aircraft.

I agree! But it's a pretty tiny airport, and it's one of those things that you really don't need per say, but it's really never been done to this magnitude, and it looks awesome, and you can pull it off if the airport is small enough.

For bigger airports this should never be done though.

Not yet.. I would expect the outside to be as detailed though.

I have a great deal of respect for the developer, but my god this seems unnecessary.  As nice as it all looks, I would prefer my system resources to be spent on detail that I can see from the cockpit.

That's my point. I don't wander around the inside of payware airports after i land. I guess resources(memory) will be eaten up by stuff we neither need or can really see. The attention to detail is remarkable and some of the best I have seen but again its like PMDG doing a highly detailed bathroom on the T7.

Couldn't agree more. This is a flight simulator, not The Sims.

Freeware developer Pompeii, Italy and Mount Vesuvius (pompeii_italy.zip) and A380 Flight plans (ai_a380_flightplans_redux.zip).

And the point of modelling the inside of an airport is? That's just rediculous.

I'm with you. This obviously took a LOT of time and effort. Too bad they didn't spend it on something flight-related.
