I grew up in Santiago de Cuba which is relatively close to Baracoa Bay. And I can tell you that palms trees in eastern Cuba are like Georgia pines Here in......well, GA,US. I just use FScene in FSX for textures with default landclass and try not to look down.

Well, I clicked on that folder (\AppData\Local\Dx10SceneryFixer) and there is another folder named "Working" and that folder is empty. I have no idea what went wrong at the moment of install :Worried: Everything seemed to be ok.

Dear Robin, It seems to me that in every post you make, you feel the need to emphasize that : FSX= game and P3D = sim (for the "Die Hard") we get it. Back to the topic, hopefully DTG delivers a good brand new platform. That can only be a good thing. I'm certainly not looking forward to a " nursery or kindergarten" version.

I Just tried mine(steam) set to high as well at the same airport and I can see the cars.

Let's say this was an update released by Microsoft(for argument's sake) and not FSX- SE(which is pretty much an updated version) , I'm very curious what most people would say. Certainly not, No thanks my FSX is running fine?........... I don't think so.

I drive by the LM assembly in Marietta, Ga on a regular basis.....................If you all want me to, I can stop by the information window and ask for a clarification on this matter.

I'd like to see those settings........I've been using FSX-SE, REX4+soft clouds, Fscene and FSreal/WX lite. To this point, it's doing the job(smooth and stable not like fs9 obviously ). I love , love, love FS9, but there is something about FSX when you are inside the cockpit that it's just different and I Don't how to explain it.

Are people making the switch to FSX Steam? I have, and I for one find it way smoother than the boxed edition. If I were you, I would only take feedbacks ( negatively or positively) from people that have tried it.

@ Philip Manhart, Fsx (steam/ms) for anybody with interest in aviation simming -no questions asked. Don't ask,don't tell (P3D)......not. Moreover,If some of you(not saying you) feel like beta testers, it would be even harder for some of us to spend that kind of money. Im sure P3D is great and i'm not trying to change the thread's subject to fsx vs p3d.

How many licenses does FSX- ES have?..........My point is that the "target audience" for FSX ES is everybody-hardcore simmers or otherwise. Now, can you say the same thing about the "don't ask don't tell" platform?

I was also using the fair weather theme on this flight. I hope you can follow the links and see what I have going on with FS9.I own both 9 and FSX and love them but you know which one wins when it come to pure smoothness.

If the question is why some"payware" aircraft have no vc, then I think that's a fair question. Is that your business model?
