Grise Fiord - The most Northerly settlement in the Canadian Arctic

Featured Replies

Welcome to Grise Fiord, Nunavut ............ This is the most Northerly fixed settlement in Arctic Canada :-

What you see here is a fantastic NWT Landscape (terrain mesh) free add-on, from the AVSIM File Library, and a similarly cool Airport add-on for the Grise Fiord airfield itself, again from the AVSIM File Library.     Textures are courtesy of FTX Global.

I like first and last shots!!!

I cannot see what airline that propeller plane is???

Are you referring to the Grise Fiord scenery for FSX use by Bob Caparoula?

Regards,

Aharon

It's the Red Bull repaint that comes with the Just Flight DC-6B  (I searched but could not find a "Buffalo Airways" livery for the JF DC-6B).

I'm not sure if it's that 'Grise Fiord' add-on or not, but it's the only one in the AVSIM library as far as I recall.

While it may be the most northerly civilian settlement in Canada, CFS Alert takes the cake for extreme.

Great shots!  I'll have to check that place out.
