Featured Replies

I am interested in finding out which flight planners can build and load a flight plan into the FMC of the PMDG 737 FMS.

Thanks,

Just about anything now can build a plan that the FMS can read.  Even SimRoutes.com has a feature to build a the route file and it's free.

Have you checked out simbrief.com? It can export a PMDG flightplan and weather.

and load a flight plan into the FMC of the PMDG 737 FMS.

I don't think there are any planners that can load the plan into the FMC. Whatever plan is created will need to be saved and loaded into the FMC as a company route.

..and if you dont wanna bother with simroutes or those like that, you can just find your flight on flightaware.com and plot in the flightplan on the RTE-page, quick and easy.

Thats what Im doing nowadays, seeing as the time it takes to make a plan, then save it to the folder as a co-route takes more time than to just plot thething straight from flightaware.

Try PFPX, it exports the flight plans into .rte and .pln formats.

The only issue is the PMDG flightplans folder is incorrectly named. I savee them to the 777 flightplans, then copy them into the NGX737 folder. You can then load the flightplan into the NGX as a CO route.....
