  1. Did a re-install and the tyre issue is fixed. In my haste to try the Q400 the first time I may have been a bit rough landing and damaged the tires. As it appears this may be a future feature of the Pro version I'm assuming I've destroyed my tires, but with the Pro version not yet available, they can't be repaired by maintenance. Anyway, re-installing fixed that. The swaying seems to have eased with the re-install, but may have also been my weather program, OPUS, but I've been doing some tweaking. All up, I'm of the opinion the issues were mine, not the software and after some study it's fast become a favourite aircraft in my hangar. Thank you Glenn and Jazz for your inputs.
  2. A fantastic aircraft and very impressed with it, but a few issues perhaps someone may be able to point me in the right direction. For some reason, every now and again, the aircraft sways from left to right. Enough to the point where is it unable to capture the localiser, and if already captured, then disconnects. It is also associated with a rattling noise, presumably, the elevators. I thought it may have been my weather program, Opus, but I've disabled it and the problem still occurs. The other issue is my aircraft appears to destroy it's tyres. Start up a new flight, view the aircraft in spot view and some of the wheels are on their rims only, while others have their tyres hanging off them. Any advice greatly appreciated. Cheers
  3. PMDG did announce they will support the NGX for P3D.....In light of that I find the question quite reasonable. I do wish some people in these forums try to decide which questions they find necessary, reasonable, informative. If people don't like a thread, move onto the next. It isn't difficult.......
  4. Reasonable I would have thought.....
  5. From reading your post it appears your missing the continuous click. Sorry, couldn't help myself......
  6. Not sure of your experience level......You have raised the landing gear, retracted flaps and spoilers?
  7. Thanks Ralph, very informative. Best of luck with your other videos....I'll be watching.
  8. I haven't flown online for a few weeks and others can probably eleborate better, but I'm pretty sure you simply enter the new approach/STAR as per the initial setup. This will probably give to two STARS in the CDU flightplan. Then just click on button next to the first fix of the new STAR, then click on the button next to the first fix of the STAR your trying to replace, click on ENTER on the scratchpad......I think that should do it. Give you something to go on until you get a better reply.
  9. Try PFPX, it exports the flight plans into .rte and .pln formats. The only issue is the PMDG flightplans folder is incorrectly named. I savee them to the 777 flightplans, then copy them into the NGX737 folder. You can then load the flightplan into the NGX as a CO route.....
  10. Not sure about PFPX with the fuel. I recently tried YSSY - KLAX, Sydney to Los Angeles and had to land in Honolulu, even tho I took an extra 5000kgs.......
  11. If the approach is tight, try reducing your airspeed as much as possible/practical. This will mean a high flap setting...... Just a quick two bobs worth.........
  12. On a more serious note have you tried changing the head position in the flight deck using the key sequences of which I can't recall off the top of my head, but it may be ctrl-backspace, the opposite being alt-ctrl-backspace. These may be incorrect but others may know the correct keys. Using them you can change the head position from up/down, to and fro.......
  13. The chair can be removed by undoing the four bolts on the floor............
  14. I don't think you'll find it's related at all to the speed or OC of the processor. If it was the pc would either lockup or most likely totally shutdown.......I wouldn't be thinking it would slow......
  15. Silly bugger, you went the wrong way, otherwise it would have only taken 5 hours and 7 minutes. :-)
