Recommended Posts

Hi Im having this annoying CTD hopefully someone can help me.

After an hour in flight FSX freezes and I cant do anything. If I do Ctrl+Alt+Del then FSX quits and displays the Fatal error message.

Faulty module is nvwgf2um.dll

My GPU is a GTX 780 with the latest 327.23 Drivers.

It started to happen since I moved to Dx10. Im also using sweetfx. Any help will be appreciated thx

I think it is the latest driver that is not working properly.

Had another crash after reinstalling the drivers but this time the faulty module was d3dx11.dll. I uninstalled the KB2670838 windows update. Lets see how it goes this time.

Completed a flight from KMIA to KIAD without issues. KB2670838 must be uninstalled when running FSX in DX10 + Sweetfx. Thanks for the help!

You know DX10 support was never completed in FSX? All bets are off regarding stability.

Robin.
