Fastest fighter jet

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I am looking for the fastest jet that is available.

I currently use Virtavia F-22, so i am looking for something faster. Not only max speed, but acceleration as well.

Thanks.

Try the MiG-25 Foxbat more than 2000 miles per hour.

Or the The Falcon HTV-2 or Hypersonic Technology Vehicle 2 can fly at a crazy speed of 13,000 miles per hour.

My default FSX Lear Jet is CRAZY FAST!  It didn't used to be, but then I made one tiny change to the aircraft.cfg file: Under [TurbineEngineData]

I changed this:

static_thrust           = 3500

to this:

static_thrust           = 35000

Made a huge difference. :lol:  Check out my test flight video:

The fastest interceptor, would be the Mig-25, for a maneuverable fighter a F-15 or SU-35 would probably fit the bill better. The fastest jet overall, though not a fighter, would be the SR-71.

Thanks
