Project Fokker is back!

Actually there won't be a VC--I emailed them asking that specific question, and I got a quick and very polite response. The screenshot shows their "wide angle" 2-d cockpit view from the jumpseat perspective.I understand their not adding a VC (huge development overhead) and the wide angle 2-d view is a nice compromise, but I suggested they add virtual wing/engine views in the same manner Erick Cantu has with his projects. Don't know that they will, but I asked.-John

I'm excited as well. That is one of my favorite panels and the aircraft is a joy to fly! Can't wait!http://www.2decker.com/media/solent1-2.JPAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD

>Are there any screenies of this new version around anywhere?>>I can't seem to find any.I haven't seem them either. But I did see the new model at the flightsim days in Lelystad last october. It's an awesome model, no VC, but it does have a very nice maintenance mode and a lot more goodies which version 1 didn't have. The panel is also updated, it now includes the APU and some other systems. I'm really looking forward to this one! :)Cheers!Michiel http://members.home.nl/mjagersma/pics/HollandJumpin.gifhttp://members.home.nl/mjagersma/pics/sig.jpg

That is wonderful news! I also thought we would never see the FS2004 vesions. Project Fokker made the best F70's and F100's for FS2002 - they looked awesome and were easy to "fly" in FS2002. I am looking forward to the new release!David

I also recall the VC being build a long time ago, so I think that will be (hopefully) included in this new version.Anyway it's great the hear them back on track after their stum silence during a year. Hopefully their will be some kind of "more" advanced panel. Looking forward to the release :-jumpyhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v324/TrancePaChE/ghf.jpg

looks beautiful, I'm sure they put a lot of hard work into it. But unfortunately this is one of the reasons why people (such as myself) buy payware. Hopefully a VC will be included though
