I would also be interested to know if there's a viable solution to the lens flare flicker bug (seems to be a DX10 artifact)?

no worries steve will do, I have an issue where AI lights blink every 6 or so seconds then disappear for a while then come back

Hi Steve

It does seem a lot better I read somewhere before that lights disappear at certain angles I think this may be the issue I am seeing, when in spot view I look to the left of an aircraft and all its lights dissapear but as soon as  I look to the right they immediately come back

The AI lights issue is much improved at distance, but only when bloom is enabled. I need to do more testing but this does seem to be the case.

  • 2 weeks later...

First, i would like to thank Steve for his work, it has really make my sim MUCH more better...even tho i have a mediocre system i can actually fly SMOOTHLY (frames are just PART of that).

There is only one big remaining issue, a killer issue, and thats the AI lights issue...i do not see them AT ALL (just a few flkashes now and then) but most of the time night sky is DEAD........i dont know if t has to do with the fact that i did not get the choice of installing or enable the dx compatible reflections AFTER installing the patch or build 24....i did got the option  with the first release but not anymore.

I have tried everything, even changing my UT2 aircraft lights to Shockwave, with no results.....i just dont see them so i kindly ask Steve or any one who can help with it.....

I got an amd phenom II x4 black ed processor and an amd hd6770 graphics card with radeonpro at 8x AA and 16x MS, additionally i just downloaded the 13.11 beta drivers for the card and the AA works MUCH better.

Any Help is apreciated.
