Where to start..

I'm running FlyTampa Dubai Rebooted with a default trike air and i'm getting 18fps. 

I've followed Kostas, Avsim, Bojote, FSXGenius and still not a difference in my fps,

Set your frame limiter ingame to unlimited, then see what that does.

Your video card is way too low spec to run 3 monitors with high frame rates.

The VRAM at 1 GB is just not enough and the bandwidth on that card  is again at the low end.

IMHO you need at least a NVidia 7 series card with 2 - 4GB VRAM to drive that successfully.

When you run three seperate windows ( not NVSurround ) the frame rate of one monitor is divided by 3. You are possibly synced to 60 fps with one monitor and a third would be 20 and 18 is close to that

How could I change the fps on the monitor? 

Use one monitor, not 3 (FSX will not function acceptably if you push way beyond for what it was developed at that time). It is only so much it can do.

 

Watch your monitor's resolution; try a notch less

 

Do not max your FSX settings- Especially AI. Keep it around 60%, that's  more than enough. Remember you are dealing with FSX and not even today's most powerful consumer- computer, will make it run @100%.

 

You can also try a more powerful Video Card

You need to disable Vsync in fsx.cfg ( FORCEWindowedVsync = 0 ) , set framerate=unlimited, and turn down some of your slider settings - no aircraft shadows or reflections. Always start with single monitor, check your fps to see that it is maybe 90 or better, then enable the other two screens. Unfortunately, without Vsync, you may see some screen image tearing.

Get a better performing video card and move to DX10 with the DX10 Controller (available flightsim store).

Why do you have TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD twice in the FSX.cfg?

Rob are you going to attend the F1 USGP in Austin next week?

 

Hi Edgar, I wish, but work has me booked up.  I'm actually more of a MotoGP (Moto2 and Moto3) fan these days ... we plan to hit Austin next year for MotoGP.  Sadly MotoGP isn't listed on Laguna Seca schedule for 2014 :(  (that's where my signature pic of me/car is from)

Stupid question perhaps, but did you install SP2 / Acceleration? 

If nothing helps, best doing a fresh install?
