November 21, 201312 yr Ok I did my Google search and did not see if these panels are going to work. Just built my mini GA pit/panel and have all of the Saitek Panels (soon the Instrument Panel) as well as a Goflight panel. No word over on SPAD I will post there but Max has not been around for awhile. Did not check LINDA but I have little doubt that those amazing guys are on top of it (like they always are). I hope RemoteFlight will also follow with support. Vrinsight GPS...I wonder. Desktop Aviator GPS... Rob"Life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it"
November 22, 201312 yr I would think SPAD would work because it uses FSUIPC to talk to the sim. The latest version of FSUIPC states is 4.92f states it's P3D V2 ready. I hope it works because I have the Saitek panels myself. I guess Monday will tell. Jon
November 22, 201312 yr The best wer can hope for is that Saitek and GoFlight have been part of the beta and plan to upgrade the drivers, but realistically I think it will be a while. I did't use Prepar3D 1.X for a long time since I had to wait for TrackIR and Saitek (SPAD) to support it. Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!
November 22, 201312 yr Author Thanks guys, I ended up finding a little info in their forums but it was all old and nothing final on all of the panels. (that I found) If someone gets V2 and has the panels please let us know. Rob"Life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it"
January 9, 201412 yr I've got Prepar3d v2 and the Saitek radio panel. So far, no luck getting SPAD to talk to P3D v2. however, I'll admit I'm a complete noob to SPAD as well as P3D. but I can say this much, with SPAD running, and launching into P3D v2, my SPAD v0.5.0 never detects a connection, and my panel never lights up. I've tried multiple planes with the same results. Would love to know if anyone else has gotten this to work because I've been designing my cockpit around saitek panels and P3D.
January 9, 201412 yr I have SAITEK Multi Panel and Switch Panel working fine in v2 through SPAD. Just installed SPAD and plugged the units in and it worked. Jack J Jackson Castalla, Alicante, Spain
January 9, 201412 yr Works for me too. Both SPAD and GF software will function fine. For GF I made a shortcut to the "GFDevP3D.exe" (within the GoFlight folder) on the desktop. I run that first, then launch P3Dv2. Everything works just the same as in FSX. I would not be using P3Dv2 if my Saitek/GF hardware was not functioning. i7-9700K, MSI Z370, PNY 4070 Super, GTX 750Ti, 32GB GSkill, 43" curved Samsung, 32" BenQ, 11" LED, RealSImGear GTN750, Win10, P3DV5.4/P3DV6 and MSFS, several GoFlight modules, Saitek radio, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Virtual Fly TQ6.
January 9, 201412 yr Politely, this has been resurrected from 7 weeks ago. All answered before, mostly in the master compatibility list. Saitek stuff works well with P3D V2 via SPAD as has been noted - and the FIPs if you have them just copy in the exe.xml data from FSX. It's possible to fiddle the xml for the panels, but why bother, SPAD is free and better. Joysticks etc. are fine if you use the registered(paid) version of FSUIPC4. The GoFlight forum/support explains using GF modules with P3D. For info for those speculating - Saitek has never got into bed with P3D any version, or made any attempt to update its drivers - doubt they ever will. If you have trouble with SPAD, advise reinstalling (there is a 0.5.1 version which has been available for ages, but wouldn't make a difference) FYI I use X65F, yoke, combat pedals, 2 usb quadrants, 2 radio, multi, switch. and 3 FIPS from Saitek, simultaneously, in P3DV2 (and previously 1.3 and 1.4) absolutely no problems, using FSUIPC and SPAD plus the xml for FIPS

Have you installed FSUIPC? Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!
January 9, 201412 yr Have you installed FSUIPC? I apologize to everyone for resurrecting this old post. Simmerhead was right, I had not installed FSUIPC ( I discovered that was necessary after quite a bit more searching around) and after installing, everything came to life. Thanks for the help! I'm happy to know that these panels work well in P3D V2 with the SPAD software

September 27, 201411 yr I have six of the Saitek FIPs and cannot get them to work with P3D V2.3. If I don't have the exe.xml files from FSX to copy/paste then what do I do? I downloaded the direct output file from Saitek but it doesn't appear to install into P3D.
September 27, 201411 yr This is my exe.xml maybe you can use parts of it. November 27, 201411 yr I have just started using Prepar3d. The ADF needle does not seem to work when I tune into a NDB. I use Go Flight GF46 to tune the ADF, Transponder etc. I am not a computer geek so hopefully any instructions will be understandable to me. Many thanks for any help you can give me.
