SP2?

Recommended Posts

After perusing Roberts last pinned topics on the SP for the T7 and 747v2 and the DC6 info in the other topic I and I am sure others who currently enjoy the NGX more would really appreciate if a statement could be made on the SP2 and the ER models for the NGX. Thank you.

After all these topics about the -300ER, SP1 for the 777X and the 747V2.0 there's still someone who can't get enough.

I know some of you want the 737NGX with the SP2 and the -700ER/-900ER models. But what was a great guy saying?

Patience is a virtue.

So, calm down, enjoy the models you already have and .....wait. Thrust me. It will be worth, for sure.  B)

A little quick to judge, aren't we?

IIRC, PMDG had planned on releasing the ER models not too long after release of the initial NGX package...

Here we are 2+ years after release and still no news on the ER package.

You do have a point...

PMDG 737NGX ER Package:=======================I saw a few folks inquiring about the ER packages: I would anticipate these to arrive around the US Thanksgiving holiday. (Subject to change!) We might close the gap here a bit, but we will also be moving certain members of the team to the 777 in order to get that project moving at full speed, so we'll just plan for a few months between each of the NGX expansion packages. (Whoa... Did he just mention the 777? Yes, yes he did.) Okay folks- I think that is all I have for you tonight!

While I understand the meaning of "subject to change" just as well as anyone else, 2 years after Thanksgiving 2011 does seem a bit odd.

At the same time, replies such as "failed promises...." probably aren't going to get you very far.

Thanks for finding that quote... Pretty dissapointing that this part of the NGX development has fallen off the radar.

I know PMDG can see these posts.... As to why they fail to inform us on why they are two years late will forever perplex me.

There really is no point moaning or complaining about what PMDG has claimed, said promised or anything; PMDG never make promises, we all know that. Why try to push and rush the Dev teams? It wont get you or any of us products any quicker!!!! We have some awesome products in the T7 and the NGX and the JS4100 and the MD-11 and the 747, if you rush, everyone knows what happens; awful products are produced.

PMDG will not have forgotten. Wait and be patient. That's my few cents worth :)

I won't comment on the expansion models, but your quote included the SP when you were referring to "failed promises."  That was why I said what I said.

I think you'll find that PMDG said that additional expansions would depend on the demand for them...  Perhaps everybody is happy with the base model.

Perhaps not. I forgot about that quote above from over two years ago. Nevertheless, I find it quite difficult to believe Robert cannot make mention of the status of SP2/ER models. He has clearly been in the forums since my original post.
