Ok, so that means, for example, "NA BLUE" would not be included in the Global. Correct? Or any of their other packages. Global is simply a global texture upgrade, not necessarily a combination of all of their other scenery enhancements.

You are correct, it is replacement of the default textures. The FTX packs are specific texture, mesh and scenery specifix for that area.

I am the proud owner of all the Australian airports (purchased for use in FSX). I am thinking of moving over to P3D but can I safely assume I will not have to re-purchase these airports for use P3D V2.0 once the updates are available?

If you purchased any Orbx product through the FlightsimStore you have 100 downloads enabled for each product. All Orbx regions and airports will be upgraded to P3Dv2 over the coming months and when they are you can re-download the new version from FSS free of charge.

No, they said that airports that have been made by others (which I guess would mean almost every airport) will have to be updated by the various original developers and it is up to them to decide if they want money for the work they have to put in it. Afaik all regions will be updated for free.
