December 15, 200421 yr Between the Aeorstar, Commander 115, and Seneca which two would you choose? I have all the rest.Anybody have all three and rate any two above the others? Thanks for your opinion.RTH
December 15, 200421 yr Definitely the Aerostar since it's their latest and most detailed/advanced. As for the Commander vs Seneca - it depends on whether you want a second twin or a single-engine aircraft. -
December 15, 200421 yr I just bought the Commander and Seneca. They both handle really well and are fun to fly. My understanding is that the Aerostar is a lot more airplane to handle... Bert
December 15, 200421 yr >The seneca is nice. But panel isnt the best. That might be machine, settings, or resolution specific. I actually find the Seneca panel to be excellent. I like it more than some of the newer models, but perhaps that
December 15, 200421 yr I have all three. I think the Seneca is excellent. It has some weaknesses, but I find that it is one of the few aircraft I come back to again and again, and I've had it for a long time. I just got the Aerostar a couple of days ago, it is still growing on me and perhaps it can be a future favourite. The Commander is the one I like the least of the three, though there is nothing particularly wrong about it. It just doesn't resonate with me, and for its use I'd rather go with a light twin or the Piper Meridian. -
December 16, 200421 yr I have all but the Aerostar. I love the Commander for some reason, can't really put my finger on it I just love flying it. So much so, that I did a Round The World Flight in it about six months ago. Took about 140 hours, but it was great. I'm waiting for the Cessna 337 they are doing, the screenshots look nice.Hawk
December 16, 200421 yr Well i have the senaca and the commander the commander is a bit old but it still a great plane to fly ... the senaca is also relaly nice to fly And recently i bought the areostar superstar now that is a differnt type of twin piston aircraft just useing spoilers to slow down with out stressing the engine is something differnt ... more like a turbo prop with our the turbine :)
December 16, 200421 yr The panel is OK but it definitely shows that it's an older model than their Navajo. Gauges in the VC aren't quite as sharp for example. But it's still very good. -
December 16, 200421 yr I already owned the Navajo, so I picked up the Seneca and the Commander with the 2-fer offer from FSD. I like them both a lot, but especially the Seneca.Jim
December 16, 200421 yr Author I just wish they had the option of snailmailing a money order or plain cash... There's a few there that I'd love, but I have no credit cards, and I'm extremely hesitant to use paypal if I can avoid it..... Declared weather: FSX: ASN / FS9: ASE
