November 28, 201312 yr Hello all. Searching about this Majestic Q400 bouncing issue leads me to believe that their isn't really anything in particular that may cause this annoying problem. Furthermore, it is the only time that P3D V2 wants to behave like good 'ol FSX by giving me a CTD when I try to save a Q400 parked at a gate. Anyone have this problem still? Better yet - anyone know the root cause? FYI - I have the latest version of the Q400. Mario Di Lauro
November 29, 201312 yr The Q400 runs wonderful with high FPS in P3D. No problem with bouncing. I also use FSE (FSEconomy)and with P3D there is no more issue with flight recording as it was with FSX. The only exception I found is that closing P3D will end in a CTD. Cheers, Michael Cheers, Michael Aorus Master z390 / i9 9900KS / GTX [email protected] / 32 GB Ram / all watercooled

November 29, 201312 yr In FSX I have only had this problem once and it happened when I was taxiing too fast. I believe this will addressed in the upcoming patch. Mark CYYZ
November 30, 201312 yr You got Prepar3d v2 working with FSEconomy? Please tell me how...private message if need be. It's really all I use, so this is brutal if I can't fly with FSE. Pete Vanderzwet
November 30, 201312 yr Regarding FSE you have to do nothing, just start the client after P3D is up and everything is fine. I have made several flights due the last days without any problems. December 5, 201312 yr My issue was that the install set it to a lan network instead of my computer. Pete Vanderzwet
December 16, 201312 yr I don't have this issue or the CDT at all in P3Dv2 (I did in v1.4), but I do have bouncing issues with other aircraft (RealAir Turbine Duke, for example). Apparently LM is aware of the problem and is working on a fix in their next patch. As for the Q400 specifically, the Majestic folks have stated that you can't have the Q400 installed on 2 separate hard drives. So if you plan to install in both FSX and P3D, ideally both should be on the same drive. You can read more about it on the Majestic forums.
