February 5, 201412 yr On the bouncing/braking experienced during taxi and take-off run, I was able to get rid of it by changing slightly the contact point in aircraft.cfg for the line point.0 (front gear), I reduced the third parameter from -3.95 to -4.05 for the lines point.1 and point.2 (main gear). I reduced the third parameter from about -4.00 (there was minor differences between the wheels) to -4.1 this gave me a smooth ride on the ground... PierreP3D when its freezing in Quebec....well, that's most of the time...C-GDXL based at CYQB for real flying when its warming up...

Thanks Keith Hi Keith, Not rocket science at all as I was not knowledgeable about this adjustment at the beginning of the evening yesterday. Google and some Youtube examples of adjustement showed me the way to this parameter. The signification of the parameter is quite simple, it is a negative value in feet from a reference point of the aircraft for the contact point. If you decrease by 2 feet for example this value, This will cause the plane to float over the runway. If the figure is too small, the wheel are buried in concrete and this cause huge problem as the plane stop to move. I guess the current problem is because the value is very close to the runway and Prepar 3D handle this parameter slightly differently than FSX. You need to find the precise adjustment where the wheel are free from the concrete. A slight elevation over the runway doesnt seem to bother the simulation as the airplane still brake... I made those change mainly for my own education as it is quite possible that this issue is already on the Prepar3D list. They have an entry in their bug list that say "Bug - plane bouncing on the runway" (and marked as solved). I will wait for the release of the 2.1 update which seems imminent before making any further changes to my other airplane....
