December 31, 201312 yr Tried reinstalling DX10 fixer but same thing happens even with a clean install. V1.2 Build 29 (latest available from FSStore) Thanks
December 31, 201312 yr I wonder what airport that is. Looks like shadows from airport lighting shooting out in different directions. Hopefully you deleted the Shaders10 folder in AppData/Local/Microsoft/FSX/Shaders10. It will be rebuilt. Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! December 31, 201312 yr It looks a lot more like flowers and grass and an alpha channel that isn't working to me but you need to tell us a bit more about where your shot is and whose software you are using. Your post might be better placed in the DX10 Fixer support forum? Regards, Nick
December 31, 201312 yr Commercial Member It's a grass update gone wrong (for DX10 anyway), check out this thread: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/70213-pnw-anomoly-since-patch/ The interim fix is in the 2nd to the last post until the next Orbxlibs is released Jim
December 31, 201312 yr Author Yes, when I run DX9 the anomaly is not present. The airport is somewhere in the PNW area (F1 safe startup flight for complex addons). It is grass. As the Orbx site is down I am guessing I need the previous Orbx libs ? Yep, it was an error in the latest Orbx libs. Installed the interim two files. All good now. Next version of Orbx libs will have it corrected. Thanks folks.
December 31, 201312 yr You need these two files. rename them (take the .txt off) and put them in FSX\Orbx\FTX_AU\FTXAA_ORBXLIBS\Scenery. Job done! Keep these two files in case you have to reinstall the Orbx Libraries. This will be sorted out when the next new libraries are released. The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
