More realistic stars at night?

Featured Replies

I do a search on google, and all i get is SIDs and STARs but I am talking about nighttime sky, like with a milky way, and different size, and colored stars, anything out there?

There's only one thing for that and its called AutostarX. Can be found here in the library http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=autostar&CatID=root&Go=Search

It doesn't really do anything for the Milky Way though but the stars and planets are an improvement over default. The Milky Way is a .bmp file that you can edit yourself to make it brighter, darker or do what you want with. I personally darkened it myself cause I didnt like the way it looked in the sim.

Or...  you can do what I do : get your computer near a window and look at the real stars while flying...  such a night cockpit immersion ! :Hypnotized:
