January 8, 201412 yr Hello and i am new to CS6 and I have done a couple of paints that are pretty good but I had a question about countinuing a curve from the main fuselage to the buttom or top of it? It is weird and I wont to know how to do this. Here is a paint from PMDG and I put a line were I thought the curve comes to the end of the fuselage segment. -Thanks Weston Hall
January 8, 201412 yr It just comes down to trial and error.. create the shape, shift and re-size as you go. Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers
January 8, 201412 yr Author PMDG need to make a tool that tells you because thiers is always perfect and in all the repaints they made you are bound to make one error. Weston Hall
January 9, 201412 yr Like any paint, it takes trial and error to get things right.. It's not that hard to do. Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers
January 9, 201412 yr Trial and error. Pete ( PMDG's repainter) works exactly the same way. There is no simple tool tu use, to check these kinds of things. Name available upon request
January 9, 201412 yr You can use ModelConverterX to show the model without loading FSX every time. Other than that, it is trial and error. --Peter Fabian
January 10, 201412 yr One of my many paints. Trial and error is what got me through it. For me, the 777 is a lot easier to paint mainly due to this: i7 6700k, GTX 1070 (MSI), 16GB Ram DDR4 Asus Maximus VIII Hero, Corsair H100i v2 - Alex Farmer Goldstar Textures - www.facebook.com/goldstartextures
January 12, 201412 yr You can use ModelConverterX to show the model without loading FSX every time. Other than that, it is trial and error. Thank you for saving me hours of loading up FSX to check a small detail. I had no idea this was possible. Blair Hoddinott
January 12, 201412 yr here's another way of checking. Select the aircraft, look in the preview window at the errors, fix them, close the aircraft selection box while the ultralight is still selected, save the textures and put them in the folder. Repeat the process until the paint is completed. i7 6700k, GTX 1070 (MSI), 16GB Ram DDR4 Asus Maximus VIII Hero, Corsair H100i v2 - Alex Farmer Goldstar Textures - www.facebook.com/goldstartextures
