January 12, 201412 yr Now that I have my scenery in place what is a good weather and ai traffic program? Regards Lamar Wright
January 12, 201412 yr For traffic, I only use freeware. WOAI + AIG + AIFP2, and a few custom mods. Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!
January 12, 201412 yr Moderator I use MyTraffic X and currently AS2012 for weather but ASNext is in beta for P3D2. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
January 12, 201412 yr For weather I use OpusFSX. Before v2 I was using AS2012 with FSX. Prepar3d has been a good excuse to try OpusFSX and so far so good. And I'm not so sure now to buy ASN.
January 12, 201412 yr Author Thanks, I was thinking FSX Opus also for weather. It has good reviews on p3d2 forum. As for traffic I did not know Traffic X would work with p3d2? Might look into freeware as mentioned above. Is Opus very difficult to set up? Regards Lamar Wright
January 13, 201412 yr I use MyTraffic3D - Works great with P3d v2. Tom Higginbotham Intel 4820K - OC'd 4.8 ghz / ASUS x79 Deluxe Premium MB, 16 gig Corsair Dominator ram, CorsairRM1000 PSU, Corsair H-105 Liquid, EVGA 770 Classified, 37" Samsung TV/Monitor, Samsung 840 EVO SSD 1TB, WD VRaptor, 1TB

January 13, 201412 yr I installed my traffic x yesterday and it's working great. Google it and find burthart's instructions for getting it going with p3d v2 (basically, you install it but stop when communicator starts, then make a .cfg entry - it was easier than i thought). Rex 4 plus opus for weather - sweet.
