January 15, 201412 yr I have been struggling with how to create a cheap home made steering tiller for a while now. While cleaning out the closet I found my old Saitek throttle unit and started thinking of how I could use it as a tiller. 15 minutes of brainstorming, flip it sideways, add one fishing rod handle later and tada... I will finish it off, paint it, lose the unused Axis handles and find a way to mount it but I already tested with FSUIPC and it is absolutely brilliant. Works exactly as I would have expected. Some pics... Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

January 19, 201412 yr Author What's the setting in fsuipc for it please. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD Delete all settings in FS for that throttle unit. Go into FSUIPC and button and axis assignment first. Press rescan in FSUIPC and move the axis you want to assign to the steering tiller. Select send direct to fsuipc as your option and select steering tiller. Then go to joystick calibration and find steering tiller. set it up like any other axis in FSUIPC and you are all set. Personally I love it! Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
