January 15, 201412 yr Could someone answer me the following question; When you have completed your setting profiles for Yaw,Pitch,Roll,X axis,Y axis and Zoom do you have to save each of these settings before proceeding and if so how? Many thanks in anticipation. Michael Michael Broom
January 15, 201412 yr There should be a little floppy disk icon in the middle left side of the screen. That's save profile. But if you're new to TIR I highly recommend the profile called "Seth - Flight" from the naturalpoint forums. I've used it since day 2 (day 1 I was ready to return the unit until I found that profile). http://forums.naturalpoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=7445 (2nd post down) | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

January 15, 201412 yr I don't use DHM but I do have opus. Worst case try it and discard if it doesn't work well. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
January 15, 201412 yr I agree with Ryan on getting Seth's profile. I used it, and modified it slightly for my own needs, but his profile is about the best place to start. There's also a nice vid tutorial on setting it up, on YouTube: I'm sure there are others, but this one helped me out a lot in the beginning. January 16, 201412 yr Author Many thanks for your replies. Yes,I think Seth's profile is a good starting point. Many thanks again. Michael Michael Broom
January 16, 201412 yr I'm fairly new to TrackIR so it's been a recent learning/adjustment experience. Everyone will most likely have a different profile as these will contribute to your settings: 1. Physical screen (or screens) size (30", 40", 60") and location of IR camera 2. Your distance from the screen 3. How tall you are 4. Seat height 5. Even sim aircraft type being used I created a new profile and associated it to the specific sim platform I'm using (in this sample case Prepar3D). I still end up adjust a few things here and there but getting it pretty close to exactly how I like it ...
