I have 4 SSD drives 2 Samsung Pro 500gb, 1 x Pro 250gb and recently bought EVO 1TB can't fault it, the pro is excellent to, IMHO get a bigger one than a 120 as you will replace it one day when it fills up if it's budget get at least a 250gb. ;)

Yes, in my opinion, in everyday use, you won't be able to detect any difference comparing the pro to evo.

sorry dude my budget is limited. anyway thank you very much for the info. by the way 120gb is enough for me cause i dont use photoreal scenery. maybe someday i'll upgrade it to 500gb if the price become cheaper. ssd's today are very i mean VERY expensive

120GB is a bit small is it not? If you have another HDD with windows installed on it and you will be using the EVO just for storage of FSX files then you'll be ok.

The Pro and the EVO are two very fast drives, my computer boots up in less than 10 seconds now other than the old two - five minutes it used to take with a HDD. The EVO is cheaper than the Pro and there really isn't much difference between the two. Get what your wallet allows you to.

I recently installed a Samsung Evo 500 GB SSD besides the alreads existing 1GB HD. Main reason was the very long loading time of FSX (up to 6 minutes!). I took the chance for a full re-installation and installed Windows 7 64Bit and FSX on this SSD, while keeping Windows Vista with FXS and all other other software and data on the 1GB HD. The result is overwhelming! I not only achieved much shorter loading times (Windows boots in less than 15 seconds, FSX in less than 60 seconds), but I also got rid of the annoying FSX stutters, which had disturbed my flight simulation experience a lot. My current rig with very modest hardware (see "my PC") is now absolutely able to handle PMDGs 737NGX or 777 without problem. So, my recommendation is: Better invest in a sufficiently large SSD than in expensive graphics adapter and CPU.

I doubt it has anything to do with the SSD.

I have three Samsung SSDs and when I first got them that Samsung Magician software

said they are all in a frozen state and could not be secure errased.

My FSX is working fine.
