PMDG 777 Freigther and Linda issue (strange)

Hi Andy,

Thanks for your reply, however, no luck.

I checked that I have the correct files in the Modules/linda-cfg/aircrafts/PMDG 777 folder, and I do.

1. config-mcp.default

2.config-mcp.lua

3.config-mcp2.default

No matter what I do, cannot get it to work. I also have the PMDG777.MCRO file in the module folder.

the NGX works just fine.

I even uninstalled it once again and installed an older version I had, just to double check whether that would be the issue. No luck.

:( Im completely depressed:)

Cheers

Thomas

Backup your examples 1 2 and 3 to a safe location leaving the files in their current location then delete 2 and change the extension of 1 and 3 from default to lua. Also make sure Windows is showing you the full real file names by going into folder options and making sure the option called 'hide extensions of known file types' is deselected i.e. remove the tick, otherwise you will not be seeing the proper file names in the above instructions.

Cheers, Andy.

Sorry Thomas I have no idea, Guenter or Artem will have to advise further. The lines saying that Linda.lua was killed is not something I have ever seen in the log before, so I think something is not working correctly, hopefully the guys can help you.

Cheers, Andy.

Sorry, Artem has to jump in here I have no clue.

The only guess I have is, if you have assigned somewhere a LUAKILL via FSUIPC on some button (accidently)?

Hello Thomas,

unfortunately I am very sure that my post will not help you anyway - but your problem seems to be very similar to mine. As you just described before the MCP2 Displays are updated with informations coming from the T7 but I can also not do some inputs from the MCP to the T7...

The only difference between your problem and my problem is that in my case it didn't work before with the T7...The PMDG 737 NGX works excellent with Linda and the MCP2 in my case, this is also the reason why I dindn't try any reinstall up to now...

It would be great if you could give me any information if you could solve the problem in between or in the future - I will also do the same...

Greeting Thomas

Hi,

Thanks for the input anyway, appreciate it a lot.

I will update this post if I can get it to work again. I shall wait if Artem can help me out.

I will also check the fsuipc as guenseli said. I dont think that is the problem as i started fsuipc on a fresh table with 0 assignments...... will see...

Cheers

Dear All,

I have solved the problem, or at least found a way to overcome the issue... I got the MCP working again, but only If I assign all the knobs and dials from scratch within linda. I have never had to do this as it worked fine with the 777 pax version in the beginning.

Strange... nevertheless, I shall do that and im back to flying.. :)
