The wingman

Featured Replies

Some shots from an online session in F86 Sabres. I'm Rob's (Great Ozzie) wingman for this mission. The object of this mission was for us to fly from Roseberg. OR to San Francisco and for me to land....safely. Mission failed!

For the rest of it, I did manage to stay close. Not easy at 450kts!

Ron!  Do I want to ask why the mission failed?  No, I didn't think so.  Nice shots though.  Thumbs up

I lowered my undercarriage at too high a rate of knots and that buggered up the hydraulics! Consequently, a belly landing. Not a pretty sight.

It was a moment of weakness

A big boy made me do it.

That wasn't me, I wasn't even there!

I give in. It was FUN, alright? :P

Was yesterday the day for landing snafuus?  I had done a belly landing just yesterday in my Flight1 KA.  But I simply forgot to lower the gear at all.  My pax said there was an impressive display of sparks.
