February 13, 201412 yr Hi guys Just reinstalled FSX after a Puter upgrade. And went to use his site to tweak my config. But the site can't be reached. Is the site still avaliable? Or is it just generally down for a bit? Regards Mike Mike Intel 12700k No over clocking 32GB G-Skill 3600 Ram MSI RTX3080

February 13, 201412 yr Why would you want to do this anyway. If you have upgraded your (com)puter you will not need most of the tweaks anyway, possibly none of them. Unless, of course, you have upgraded it to 2007 specifications.

Actually no other tweaks give me the performance that it does so its still a very much needed website. Paul Smith

Unless, of course, you have upgraded it to 2007 specifications. I hear this sentiment a lot, but a lot of the tweaks Bojote suggests are supposedly to allow FSX to use more modern hardware power, not cripple it to 2007 standards. These are the things that get changed in the tweaking tool, can you explain which of these alterations don't apply to modern CPUs/GPUs and are obsolete settings? February 14, 201412 yr No, not to cripple the computer to 2007 standards, rather a 2007 standard computer might well need the tweaks, today's don't as a rule. Of the list, I use only HighMemFix=1.
