February 21, 201412 yr One thing X-plane does have that FSX doesn't is developers. FSX is finite in its possibilities and capability, but X-plane isn't. They keep enhancing the flying experience every patch. And with this I will agree. I just hope the interactive world that revolves around the flight experiance is addressed because the sim otherwise is really looking fantastic these days. February 24, 201412 yr If one is playing the sim as a roleplaying game with a pretend pilot in a living, breathing world a la Skyrim in the Sky, I can see how the AI/ATC issue would be a showstopper. But as a platform for simulating flight? It's fluff. Believe me, I like me some AI and ATC too, but at the end of the day, it's all about simulating the behavior of a body in flight and the physics acting on it.
