February 26, 201412 yr This not a "when will it happen" question or a "how much will it cost" question, but I've become curious since P3D V2 is having some growing pains. Will the PMDG products, once they are made available for Prepar3D, be offered for version 1.4? Some developers who have announced their intentions to release P3D offerings, are doing so only for V2, ASN comes to mind. The answer to this question will help me with graphics card choices for a new build. I would like to stay with 1.4 for now, but the card choice would have to different for V2. I will not be re-installing 1.4 if PMDG offerings will not be available for that platform. James McLees
February 26, 201412 yr Definitely go for V2 compatibile card. It will outgrow the growing pains sooner or later and then you would be left with a hole in your wallet as you replace the pretty new card in your PC. --Peter Fabian
February 27, 201412 yr Author Thanks for your reply Fabo as so far you're the only one. Still, my only question is whether or not PMDG products will be released to work in 1.4 . James McLees
February 27, 201412 yr As far as I know the subject already there are two issues dealing between PMDG and LM, the last something seemed promising as the PMDG products for P3D unfortunately do not have the links to inform, to understand that it was a response to Robert Randazzo users interested in that, where Robert was very receptive. The talk now is that my thinking, I believe that when P3D 2.1 solve problems of the moment, the subject returned to be discussed and by the end of 2014 we PMDG products for P3D.I always think positive. February 27, 201412 yr Author Why would they be?Because LM is still offering 1.4 for sale and PMDG has stated that they are working toward offering their products for P3D so my question is very obviously germane. Listen guys, if you don't know, why post something other than a direct answer to my question. I don't mean to sound terse, but I don't need video card suggestions or tangent questions, just an answer. James McLees
February 27, 201412 yr I think only PMDG knows the answer on your question. We are not able to look in their minds...
February 27, 201412 yr Author We are not able to look in their minds...This is really unnecessary. As a potential customer, with a simple and friendly question, who visited PMDG's website, selected, contact PMDG, and then, customer support, and taken to the support forum here, I don't feel your response would meet company approval. Perhaps AVSIM members, and I'm obviously one as well, should keep off color remarks unsaid when conversing on a forum with a direct link to the developers website as it reflects poorly on the company.
