Recently discussed forum topics section not updating?

For some reason it appears the Recently discussed forum topics section is not updating with the latest posts being made. Any ideas?

Oh good, I just came to this rarely visited forum section with the intention of making a new topic on the same thing, but here we are.  So yes, me three.  It seems rather that the first five or six topics are pinned in place, but everything after that is new.  For instance this post that I just made now, probably the most recent on the forum, shows up initially at number six.  The same topics about multi-monitor and the ATR72 have been there at the top it seems for hours now.

Same here.

Most have fixed this by clearing their browser cache.  In IE10 click on F12, select the cache tab and clear the cache.  Not sure how this is done in IE11 or other browsers.  You can also try going to Internet Options and deleting the Internet temporary files.  Problem we are seeing is that individuals had certain pages saved in their cache before the crash and, after the crash, these pages are still there.

Clearing the browser cache did not work for me, on either IE 9 or Firefox.  In fact, I hadn't used IE to access Avsim in years and still had many problems, no cache in effect there.

However, the problem should be solved now since the actual time has progressed beyond the dates on the newest posts.  You'll also notice that the number of people online in the last 15 minutes is now back to historical levels.

Hi Larry

This is why it was so strange just you and some others had this problem (I had it too until I cleared my cache).  We only received a handful of complaints and not hundreds.  Perhaps they were not computer literate and didn't see the problem.  Hopefully everything is back in order.

Jim,

Part of the problem may be that I'm on satellite, and goodness knows what's getting cached somewhere along that connection.

Best regards,

That whole section is missing entirely for me, I cleared my browser cache but all I see now is the forum such that I would have to navigate into the individual fora to see what's new. The bit where I could see the topics I was part of that have been replied too is gone. Gotta admit it makes it seem like work to go looking for content.

Never mind, a few refreshes later and it's back. My bad.
