Need to see what the latency in the interwebs is first.

Mine  (tracert) about the same now as it was in mid-January this year.

However much faster page loading now...

Marginally slower than most forums

But fast enough that my tiny brain not asking, "how much longer???".

I do expect a little slowness from the northern hemisphere

That's because ur underwater cable runs thru Hawaii... and they run on their own (laid back) time there.

Mines an advertized 50Mbps fiber connection, I get 58Mbps. On entry to AVSIM I get 7-8 seconds. Accessing recent posts that reset to last read about 8 sec, and going into a random post about 3-4 seconds. Much faster then before the hardware failure, which was close to double. The fastest AVSIM's been though has been the short period they took Tapatalk offline when it was causing the timeout issues, at which time access was only about 2 to 3 seconds.

Thanks

Tom

My experience has been much faster load times from when the HD crashed and the system was brought back up online. I'm using a 30mb down and 5mb up connection within the US.
