March 18, 201412 yr Hi, I'm new to the forum, but not new to x-plane, nor flight simulation. I was thinking of purchasing the B777 worldliner pro but i wanted the opinion of others also. Are there other payware aircraft more "worthy" of the money you spend on them? I've seen in the description that "it is the most advanced aircraft for x plane", but it's not always true when they say it. I've also seen that pmdg has released its 777 also, but when i saw a friend of mine flying it, the wingflex WAS HUUUUUGE,anyway i'm not a mfsx fan either, i switched from fsx to x-plane.But if the pmdg is better maybe i'll purchase that. But i want something for x-plane Do you know if it is worth it, because i would really like a 777 for x-plane 10, I just want to be sure. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
March 18, 201412 yr Hey there, I have the 777 Worldliner and before switching to x plane flew the NGX extensively. If I'm completely honest, the NGX felt like the slightly higher quality product but that's simply because pmdg are the absolute masters of their craft. The b777 is an absolutely amazing aircraft and the advantages of flying in x plane at 45 to 60 fps rather than fsx at 15 to 25 far outweigh the absolutely tiny difference in quality between the NGX and wl.
March 18, 201412 yr Author Hey, Thaks for the post, well so what you mean is that the 777 worldliner is an good? I heard that there's another T7: FF777 Wha would be the quality rating on that?

Hi, I think that honestly the PMDG 737ng is slightly better than the XP10 777, and so I would presume the PMDG 777 is also a bit better. With that said, the XP10 777 is incredible and worth buying, because it gives you the most advanced jetliner available for XP10, which is a vastly superior simulation engine to fsx.

So I'd assume that buying the 777 worldliner pro is a good decision right?
March 18, 201412 yr Author WORLDLINER IT IS. I have made my choice. I've seen videos on the net and I think it's a good product for the money. It's got many liveries and very good fmc, plus the menu and the 250 megs of sounds. It seems to me to be a very high quality product, and a pretty resonable price.Thank you all for the help and the quick responses

March 19, 201412 yr Which you need to purchase in separate packages. Alternatively, you could take a look at the many free liveries by Matteo Baiocchi at x-plane.org. This thread aims to collect all of them in one place, but it might not be updated since Matteo is a prolific aircraft painter and churns these things out at a fair clip. March 20, 201412 yr As others have said, it is a very, very solid choice. I have both the FF 757 and 777 and I still like the 777 much better. It is really solid, not many bugs that I can tell, and has a good FMC. Emirates 777-300 ER for me Phil Long
March 20, 201412 yr I just got the 777 for x-plane. 2 flights so far and love it!. The walk through the passenger cabin was very cool. Jim Shield Cybersecurity Specialist
