March 20, 201412 yr Hi, I want to ask how performance friendly the ATR for Fs9 is. I know that the minimum is a 1.6 GHz processor, but does anybody made experiences? I hope someone can tell me FlyingEngineer I am an enthusiastic flight simulator pilot from Germany with strong interests in aeronautics, materials science, engineering and programming. As I was just starting to learn English when I began virtual flying as a child, please excuse the poor English of my earlier posts (2015-2018) 🙂 FlightSim: MSFS2020 | JF BAe 146 Pro - PMDG 737-800 - Fenix A320 System Specs: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII FORMULA - Intel Core i7 6700K OC @ 4,3 Ghz - ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti OC-Edition 11GB GDDR5X - 16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4-2666 - Corsair Hydro Series H110i - Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD - Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit - CH Flight Sim Yoke - CH Pro Pedals
March 20, 201412 yr The ATR is a very complex aircraft that can definitely push your system to its' limits with all the eye candy turned on. If you're still having problems with the performance of the LDS 767, I'd hold off on the ATR until you get that sorted first. From the limited system info you've mentioned, the clock speed of your CPU is going to be the biggest issue with performance since it's a bit on the slow side. Gateway systems aren't really the best gaming systems and there really isn't a lot you can do to tweak the performance of them. You may have to dial back some of the settings on the sim to improve things. If you want to post your FS9.cfg here, I can look at it and see if there are any settings that might be holding you back. Cheers, Jeff "For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return." -Leonardo da Vinci (some experts question the attribution, but I'll go with it for now.)
March 20, 201412 yr I use it in FS9 and FSX both and I honestly can't tell you what my actual frames are like. I can tell you I am happy with it. I use it mostly in FS9 but that is only because I have more invested in my FS9 scenery. Randy Randy Tyndall You never lose the buzz of flying. April 15, 201412 yr Author The Level-D Problem is now fixed! Is there also FS2Crew for the Flight 1 ATR Fs9 Edition? FlyingEngineer I am an enthusiastic flight simulator pilot from Germany with strong interests in aeronautics, materials science, engineering and programming. April 16, 201412 yr Is there also FS2Crew for the Flight 1 ATR Fs9 Edition? Yes a button control version only. But why don't you visit the FS2Crew website and/or forum (here at AVSIM) and find out for yourself? The Level-D Problem is now fixed! It is good forum etiquette to give the readers the solution to the problem. They may be experiencing the same problem as you and would therefore benefit from your info.
April 16, 201412 yr Author You can see the solution on my other Topic: ,,Level D 767 Performance issue`` But here it is also: I set the autogen to the minimum -> 2 fps more I deactivated in FS2004 an entry of German Landmarks which I installed. It was the entry GermanLandmarks -> 5-7 fps more FS2Crew I already looked at the fs2crew Website. But the ATR Version is only in a Special bundle pack included which cost I think 59.99€. So my question is if I can get it somewhere else.
