March 25, 201412 yr Hey All, This might be a simple question but I haven't seen it. My FSX runs really good and I'm happy with it, however I would like to start playing with Prepar3d v2.2, can these both exist on the same machine without any conflicts? I will run Prepard3d v2.* as vanilla without any upgrades until I'm ready to make the switch and then use the migration tool. Thanks, Ray
March 25, 201412 yr it works perfect for me ...like in marriage...I use fsx for pmdg ngx and Duke real air B60 with Fsinn and Prepar3d 2.1 with AEX and others plane with squackbox...I don't need emt or others tool .. Today is the most beautiful day of my life...
March 25, 201412 yr Thank you to both for (a)asking the question and (b) for replying to it, as I too was h'mming and ha'aaing on this. Rick Almeida
March 25, 201412 yr same here, running both on same pc....love it! no issues and smooth fast fps/no stutters awesome flying experience
March 26, 201412 yr I run both on the same drive. I also have purchased and installed the Estonia Migration Tool for a very small cost. This tool will help you install addons that have their own automatic install file. This is a must to keep things in the right place. It also will allow you to install, setup, and use FSINN and FS Copilot with P3D if you need it for on line flying.
March 27, 201412 yr I too have FSX set up for those paywares that won't work with P3D. When I finally find replacements for P3D I will bid FSX a fond fare-thee-well!
March 29, 201412 yr Yep, same here, at one point had both FSX and P3D 2.0 on the same PC and add ons, etc work perfectly fine. Phil Long
